"The College of Europe Postgraduate Scholarship Programme," conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs EU Presidency, is sustained with scholarship support from the private sector, civil society organizations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, and the College of Europe. Within this scope, individuals who are eligible for the scholarship have the opportunity to pursue a 10-month master's program at the College of Europe (College d'Europe).

The College of Europe was established in 1949 in the city of Bruges, Belgium, with the aim of providing academic support to European integration efforts and training bureaucrats for European Union institutions. The College, where education is mandatory in English and French, is one of the most influential and reputable institutions in the field of European studies. Graduates of the College take on significant roles and responsibilities not only in EU institutions and public institutions of member and candidate states but also in the private sector and civil society organizations.

Our Presidency envisions providing scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025 at the College of Europe for academically successful students interested in pursuing a master's degree in the field of the European Union. The necessary conditions for scholarship applications are outlined in the scholarship announcement at the following link, and the deadline for applications has been set as January 16, 2024. The announcement and detailed information about the scholarship program can be found on our Presidency's website at https://www.ab.gov.tr/53611.html. Between the years 2010 and 2023, 163 of our students have had the opportunity to pursue a master's degree at this esteemed institution.

Candidates applying to the program are expected to be university graduates or final year students in relevant fields such as law, economics, social sciences, and communication, and to have a good command of both English and French languages. After the completion of the application process, an initial shortlist is prepared by the College of Europe through the examination of application files, and scholarship recipients are selected through interviews from among the candidates on this list.
